Lieutenant General Rajendra Ramrao Nimbhorkar is a former Officer of the Indian Army who served as the Master General Ordnance (MGO) at Army HQ, New Delhi. He was commissioned in the Indian Army in Punjab Regiment in June 79 and served the nation with a glorious career spanning nearly 40 years. He is distinguished alumnus of Sainik School Satara, NDA Khadakwasla, Defence Services Staff College Wellington and National Defence College, Dhaka Bangladesh.
During his career he has mostly served in J&K during counter insurgency and also commanded 16 Corps Nagrota as a Core Commander. He was instrumental in planning surgical strike inside POK in 2016. He was main advisor to Govt of Maharashtra in setting up of Sainik School Chandrapur and currently he is a Chief Patron of it.
